For me coming to Morocco and NOT going to the Sahara Desert wasn't an option, however the prices of the tours were quite extravagant and I was almost thinking that we would just have to miss it altogether. So we were sitting in a cafe in Fes drinking Moroccan Tea when we happened to get…

So many treasured sunsets around the world and yet some of the best are right here in our backyard. #downunderwanderings#travellers#travelblogger#adventure#wanderlust#ig_travel#sunset#homeiswhereyouparkit#vanlifediaries#vanlife#purenewzealand#whananaki#nz#destinationnz#travelnz#scenic#bestintravel#

There is nothing like freshly washed washing and nothing better than seeing it blow in the wind as you sit in your deckchair with The South Island's Coastline in your sight. I hope our country never takes away the rights or the privilege to freedom camp with views like this in our backyard enjoying nature and back to basics living like this. It's such a great unwind from our everyday pressured lives and a great way to gain perspective of what really matters in life. #downunderwanderings#travellers#travelblogger#adventure#wanderlust#vanlifediaries#vanlife#purenewzealand#freecamping#homeiswhereyouparkit#nature#nz#backtobasics#
We went to walk The Heapy Track a few years ago. It's a long long drive out to Karamea and an even longer drive back in total silence after a disagreement which saw us not walking the track. However as we drove up towards Punakaiki it was hard to stay mad at each other with such beautiful scenery surrounding us. The Pancake Rocks are most spectacular in the Putai area. They were formed 30 million years ago from minute fragments of dead marine creatures and plants landed on the seabed about 2 km below the surface. Immense water pressure caused the fragments to solidify in hard and soft layers. Gradually seismic action lifted the limestone above the seabed. Mildly acidic rain, wind and seawater sculpted the bizarre shapes. That's the official description however for me it's just another beautiful natural wonder planted in New Zealand 's landscape and one that shouldn't be missed. #downunderwanderings#travellers#travelblogger#adventure#wanderlust#vanlifediaries#vanlife#purenewzealand #NewZealand#nzmustdo#punakaiki#ig_travel#landscapes#scenic#nature#destinationnz#
